Die Omega Speedmaster wurde 1957 eingeführt; das erste Modell, die CK 2915, wurde vom Kaliber 321 angetrieben. Die Speedmaster Professional, meist Moonwatch genannt, ist die bekannteste Version. Es handelt sich um einen handaufgezogenen Chronographen mit 42 mm, und Buzz Aldrin trug eine solche bei Apollo 11 auf dem Mond. Ab 1968 kam das Kaliber 861 zum Einsatz, später zum 1861 weiterentwickelt; 2021 löste das 3861 mit Co-Axial-Hemmung und Master-Chronometer-Zertifizierung das 1861 ab.
