O Omega Speedmaster Super Racing faz parte da família Speedmaster, iniciada em 1957. A linha Racing é um ramo da gama inspirado no desporto automóvel. Os modelos Racing atuais utilizam uma caixa de 44,25 mm e o calibre Omega 9900, e Michael Schumacher foi um representante-chave da marca no início dos anos 2000. Este grupo mostra como a Omega apresenta relógios deste tipo como exemplo da relojoaria suíça. A própria Omega foi fundada em 1848 e tem sede em Biel/Bienne.
