Dr. Robert Walters Talks About ORBIS International | OMEGA

Dr. Robert Walters, Chairman of ORBIS International, describes how he first became involved with the non-profit organisation as a volunteer surgeon and stresses the importance of having OMEGA as a partner. Since its foundation in 1982, ORBIS has implemented eye care programmes to provide training, tools and technology for local partners in 88 countries. The ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital, supported by OMEGA, helps far-flung communities address the tragedy of avoidable blindness. Working together, ORBIS and OMEGA have been able to provide medical care for more than 12 million people and train more than a quarter of a million eye care professionals.
