L'Omega Speedmaster è stato introdotto nel 1957, con il primo modello, il CK 2915, dotato del Calibre 321. La versione più nota è lo Speedmaster Professional, di solito chiamato Moonwatch: un cronografo a carica manuale da 42 mm, e Buzz Aldrin ne indossava uno sulla Luna durante l'Apollo 11. Dal 1968 utilizzava il Calibre 861, sviluppato poi nel 1861, e nel 2021 il 3861 con scappamento coassiale e certificazione Master Chronometer ha sostituito l'1861. The OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 13 Silver Snoopy Award has been created to mark the 45th anniversary of Apollo 13 – NASA’s “successful failure”. This limited edition timepiece is distinguished by the silver Snoopy medallion set on the enamelled caseback. Decorating the dial is the inscription “What could you do in 14 seconds?” - a nod to the 14-second mid-course correction that Apollo 13 astronauts timed with their OMEGA Speedmaster Professionals.
